Triple Boarded in Neurology, Vascular Neurology and Neurocritical Care, Dr. Malek comes to Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute from the University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital where he served as faculty in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery and as the Director of their Neurosciences ICU for five years. He completed his Neurology Residency at the University of South Florida and was Chief Resident in his final year. He has completed fellowships in Vascular and Critical Care Neurology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham under Dr. Camilo Gomez and in Endovascular Neurosurgery under Dr. Richard Fessler at Providence Hospital in Michigan.
